Featured

South-South Health Summit — a major regional summit approved by the Federal Ministry of Health (2021) and currently in progress. This summit is a flagship event for PFHF and central to our ongoing collaboration with government and partners.

Previous Interventions

  1. Designing and proposing Youth HIV/AIDS programmes by the President, PFHF — adopted and run by UNICEF for sixteen years. (Reference: Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Youth Development during the tenure of Aisha Ismail under President Olusegun Obasanjo.)
  2. Designing and proposing a six geopolitical zones Women HIV/AIDS programme; mobilized funds from UNAIDS and facilitated World Bank grant engagement. Implemented across the six geopolitical zones.
  3. Health Outreach in Akwa Ibom State (2013); Health Outreach in Port Harcourt (2014); Malaria prevention and promotion of antenatal care (2016).
  4. Improving women living standards and health in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development; secured clearance to open a joint bank account with the Office of the Accountant General for the Ministry and PFHF.
  5. In 2021 the Federal Ministry of Health approved the South-South Health Summit for Peace For Humanity Foundation — currently progressing towards implementation.

Ongoing Projects

  1. South-South Health Summit including CFM for healthcare services intervention.
  2. Mobilisation of health personnel for training on management and control of disease outbreaks, focusing on women, children and persons with disabilities.
  3. Training on skill acquisition and development for young school dropouts and graduates without economic sources.
  4. Awareness, communication and social mobilisation on mitigation of climate change.
  5. Data collation on health challenges, youth activities and standards of living.
  6. Awareness and sensitization on HIV/AIDS, malaria, hepatitis prevention and control.
  7. On-the-spot assessment and case-by-case identification of critical community challenges.
  8. Health outreaches.
  9. Proposed mobilisation of ₦70,000,000,000 for establishing Persons with Disabilities farm cities and related skills programs in collaboration with the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (Federal Ministry of Humanitarian and Poverty Reduction).
